Addressing the underlying root issues through counseling regularly yields better and longer-lasting outcomes. A major goal of depression counseling is to equip and encourage you to identify the underlying issues and help you deal with them on your own so you can flourish and thrive.

Strategy 1 - Behavioral Strategies Since depression has a significant biological component, it is important to combat it with physical strategies. We help clients take small but significant steps toward a daily lifestyle that does not feed their depression.
Strategy 2 - Primary Problems In the safety of our session, your counselor will help you identify the underlying factors contributing to your depression. Once we know the underlying problems, we can develop practical strategies for addressing them.
Strategy 3 - Cognitive Strategies Research has demonstrated that replacing negative thoughts with positive ones is a highly effective method of combatting the symptoms of depression. Using CBT, Narrative Therapy, and other tools, clients will begin to think, feel, and live very differently.
